Encore: ‘Gloria in Excelsis Deo’

Gloria in Excelsis Deo–“Glory to God in the highest”–don’t worry if you don’t speak Latin, St. Saens’ music, sung by Libera, will speak to you clearly enough.

I hope you don’t mind my posting this again. We need encouragement, in this evil age. We need the strength that God can give us.

Encore: ‘Gloria in Excelsis Deo’

Yes, I know I posted this hymn yesterday: but today’s encore is special to my fellowsoldier Evelyn, who loves this rendition of it by Libera. Evelyn and I go back a long way. She does the Lord’s work in the midst of his enemies. And I’ve never told her this before, but I say it now: Evelyn, you are an inspiration to me.

And we must all be inspirations to each other–because the Lord is with us.

Today’s Hymn, ‘Gloria in Excelsis Deo’

This is the “Voci San Bellino” Choir from Padua, Italy, performing Gloria in Excelsis Deo–“Glory to God in the Highest”–by Camille St. Saens.

Remember, the hymn shop is open to all, 24/7. If there’s a hymn you’d like to see posted here, just let me know.
