It used to be one conqueror at a time–Pyrrhus, Caesar, Genghis Khan, et al. Nowadays it’s international cabals who come at us with dollars and lawyers rather than bombs and bullets… although when nothing else works, they’ll still resort to bombs and bullets. As they’re doing in Ukraine.
