Do these people ever bother to think about what they’re saying?
Three American soldiers were killed, and several wounded, a few days ago in a drone attack on a U.S. base in Jordan (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/01/karine-jean-pierre-us-troops-killed-drone-attack/). The perpetrator is as yet unknown; Iran is the leading suspect.
All of this is bad enough; but the capper was provided by White House spokesdope Karine Jean-Pierre in an interview on MSNBC.
The soldiers, she said, were “fighting on behalf of this administration.”
Say what?
I think this was the most blubber-headed public statement I’ve ever heard in my life–and it speaks directly to the caliber of “this administration”–worthless. Sorry you died, boys… but at least it was on behalf of this administration! That’ll be a comfort to your families.
Anyone can say something stupid. But surely Ms. Jean-Pierre had time to map out what she was going to say in front of the TV cameras. Maybe even gotten somebody sane to write it for her.
Maybe it was a Freudian slip. A slip that shows us what these dindles really think.
