Didn’t know what she was doing–but she voted.

Just because some poor soul has gone totally gaga with Alzheimer’s or some other affliction shouldn’t mean that he or she can’t vote! So sez the New York Times (https://thefederalist.com/2024/09/12/new-york-times-its-ok-to-help-your-mentally-incapacitated-relatives-with-their-ballots/).

Yup! According to the Times (aka the Far Left Crazy Bible), it’s perfectly okay to “help” your mentally incapacitated relatives fill out their ballots–even if they’re altogether out of it and can’t understand what they’re doing.

Wouldn’t want any Democrat votes to go to waste!

I was in that situation with my aunt and it wasn’t much fun. She was completely out of it, but still required to sign certain documents. With a lawyer present, I had to put a pen into her hand, hold and guide her hand, and as best I could, provide her not-quite-genuine signature. She was not aware of it.

The Times’ “Ethicist,” columnist Kwame Whatsisname, sez voting’s too big a deal to be withheld from someone who doesn’t know what she’s doing–even when “helping” her with her absentee ballot violates state law. Honk if you think that’s any kind of ethics.

They’ll do anything to win… no matter how low and tasteless.

P.S.: “New York Times ethicist” is an oxymoron.
