Almost 300 years ago, a man in England received a lemon as a gift and stuck it in the back of his sock drawer.

Great Caesar’s ghost! What do you do with a 285-year-old lemon? It isn’t even yellow anymore. Good luck trying to make lemonade with it. Is it hard enough to serve as a projectile? What would it take to get you to pay $1,780 for a centuries-old lemon? Or do you just have so much money that it doesn’t matter what you pay for anything?
