‘Glory and Praise to Our God’

I was looking for a hymn for this morning and not finding anything I wished to use–unless I reached the end of the Youtube page and found this–Glory and Praise to Our God, sung by John Michael Talbot, presented by the Diocese of St. Benedict. It made me glad I didn’t skip ahead for something else.

By Request: ‘The Pleiades and Orion’

Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name…”   —Amos 5:8

Text by the Holy Spirit; music by John Michael Talbot: a song of praise to God the Creator. Requested by my chess buddy, <optimal play>.

If you’re new to this blog, the hymn shop is always open for requests; so if there’s a hymn you’d like to see posted here, just let us know.
