Charles Wesley wrote this hymn in 1762–O Thou Who Camest from Above, performed here by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band… the old-fashioned way.

How did the builders of so many English churches get their churches to look like they grew on the spot as living things? Too many of the new churches look like somebody just accidentally dropped them there.
