My wife had a pet possum, once upon a time. The possum had babies and stowed them in the silverware drawer. I once had a possum, too; but my mother wouldn’t stand for it. She might’ve changed her mind if she saw this video.

His Pet Possum
I had a possum in my bedroom once, half-grown, not a baby anymore. I thought it would make a nice pet. My mother got one glimpse of it and shot off into hyperspace. Goodbye, young Mr. Possum.
This video is proof that opossums can love and be loved by humans. Thank you for that, Lord.
