Really, it looks like the Swamp is getting away with murder, Democrats never have to pay for their misdeeds, etc.–no denying that it does.
Well, the big names are all still on the loose, walkin’ and talkin’ and trying to subvert the country: but the Trump administration has begun to gulp down some of the smaller fish.
In the first of a series of regular semi-annual departmental audits by the Office of the Inspector General, investigation resulted in 33 arrests, 35 indictments, and 21 convictions (https://americandigitalnews.com/2018/08/31/oig-semiannual-audit-results/#.W5-_E85Kj3g). They also caught one leaker, who’s been turned over to the Justice Dept. for prosecution.
The second semi-annual audit is now underway.
President Trump did promise to audit the federal government “one department at a time,” and it looks like that’s what he’s doing.
I hope he understands that we are soooo used to elected officials just light-heartedly forgetting that they ever promised anything, that we don’t yet know what to make of a president who keeps his promises.
I think that’s why the political establishment hates him and wants to punish us for electing him.
