This is from 7 months ago, so this has been going on for awhile. The plant under discussion is a different one from the ones covered yesterday. It gives a more detailed explanation of what is going on. It is a complex situation (but as usual, the rancher gets shafted). I will follow this further. Someone is making money from this–it’s not the consumer, the rancher, or the packing company employees. I fear government involvement, but can’t think of any other solution. We will know more when we have more facts.
