Teachers’ Union Prez Pops Her Cork

Speaking on Thursday in Philadelphia, Pringle gave an impassioned monologue that many compared to a speech given by Dwight Schrute in The Office

If Mussolini had ever joined the NEA…

[Thanks to Susan for the nooze tip.]

At the annual meeting of the National Education Assn. last week, NEA President Becky Pringle went on a roll–waving her fists in the air and shouting repeatedly, “All the things! All the things! All the things!” (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13610501/National-Education-Association-president-Becky-Pringle-mocked-totally-unhinged-rant-draws-hilarious-comparison-Office.html)

All what things?

(Shut up! Don’t ask smart-ass questions!)

Pringle’s performance has been described as “totally unhinged.” You won’t get any argument here. It seems she was inspired by a passionate speech performed in a comedy movie, The Office… Itself based, in turn, on some rhetoric by Mussolini. I would be surprised if she knew who Mussolini was.

The high spot of the rant: “We are the ones who hold steadfast to the belief in the plausibility of the possible.” Please feel free to say what you think she’s talking about. I mean, where’s Kamala-la-la when we need her to interpret?

Oh–and it’s all Donald Trump’s fault, everything that’s bad.  But unionized teachers already know that.
