Bonus Hymn, ‘He Hideth My Soul’

This is the hymn that was in my head this morning: He Hideth My Soul, by Fanny Crosby. Published in 1890, it still inspires us today–as you can tell by this spirited rendition by the choir and congregation at the Church of God.

Remember this wisdom.

When things look bleak, sing louder.

When things are looking up, sing louder.

Lay It on the Lord

Things ain’t lookin’ too good for this fallen world today; and I don’t know about you, but I could use another hymn. This one.

Turn it up, sing along, and sing it loud–What a Friend We Have in Jesus, with the whole congregation of The Church of God. A capella, no less.

Take it to the Lord: for He is able to carry all our burdens.
