‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

I can’t let Easter go by without posting this–Up from the Grave He Arose, by the Voice of Eden: making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

I posted this, by request, several weeks ago, and that post is already lighting up the board, this Easter morning. But in case you missed that post, here it is again.

By Request, ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

We have to go grocery-shopping today, with the public in full panic mode. It won’t be fun.

But first, requested by Erlene–Up from the Grave He Arose, sung by Voice of Eden, somewhere in South India. I usually save this one for Easter Sunday. But I think we need it now.

Back to Easter: ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

We need for Christmas and Easter to work on us all year long, not just in their designated seasons.

So let’s revisit this classic Easter hymn, Up from the Grave He Arose, sung in glorious harmony by the Voice of Eden.

I wonder what would happen if I went outside and cheered.

One More Time, ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

I’m sorry, but I just can’t get enough of this hymn–Up From the Grave He Arose, sung by the Voice of Eden, from somewhere in India. Wow! We have family in India, and some of them can sing up a storm.

Christ’s resurrection changed the world. As the hymn tells us, “Death cannot keep his prey.” Jesus has broken its chains forever.

Encore, ‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

I knew I’d want to post this more than once, leading up to Easter–Up from the Grave He Arose, by the Voice of Eden. And see–they’ve got 300,000 views for it, so I’m not the only one. Anyway, it’s an ideal hymn for Easter.

‘Up from the Grave He Arose’

This is the first hymn that I wanted when I woke today–Up from the Grave He Arose, sung by the Voice of Eden. Really, you can never be too early to celebrate Easter. Is there any reason not to rejoice in Christ’s Resurrection every day?

By Request, ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

Linda asked for this last night, but we decided to save it for this morning: Up From the Grave He Arose, sung by the Voice of Eden. It’s a Christian youth choir in southern India by Mt. St. Thomas–and can they sing! Turn up the volume on this one. Easter will be here before you know it.

From India, ‘At the Cross’

This is another beautiful hymn performed by The Voice of Eden, At the Cross. I don’t know where in India these young people come from, but I’m sure their singing pleases God.

And now I’ve got to go, because I promised Harlem I would take him up the hill to see the deer. He’s got his heart set on it. As for me, Cindy will kill me if I let anything happen to him, so I’m there to make sure it doesn’t. He’s clear of cancer now, but has not yet got his full strength back.

See youse later, as we say in Joisey.

‘Burdens Are Lifted at Cavalry’

The Voice of Eden again, this time singing co-ed: Burdens Are Lifted at Calvary.

I don’t know where in India these brothers and sisters of our come from, but I’m as sure as I can be that their sweet singing pleases God. I find their example inspiring. It isn’t so easy to be a Christian, in certain parts of the world. We here in the West have very little to contend with, compared to these new Christians. May the Lord Our God awaken our courage–and our zeal.

Glorious! ‘Up From the Grave He Arose’

This is the Voice of Eden, eight voices, singing Up From the Grave He Arose–thank you, brothers! Turn up the volume, sing along: this is Christ’s triumph. “Earth could not keep its prey/ He tore the bars away…” Jesus Christ, our Savior and our King!
