The Day After

There’s an old proverb that says, “Never write a letter while you’re angry.” It probably means one shouldn’t write a blog post while depressed. So I’ll be brief.

Lights out, America. You have just signed your own suicide note.

Meanwhile, the next storm has started and we still have no water for drinking, bathing, or washing dishes. So we eat frozen and canned stuff. Yum, yum.

Special thanks to those self-righteous Christians who couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Romney. Congratulations–you helped Obama win.

And here I deem it unwise to write another word.

  2. Did you actually believe that Romney would win the election? Not a real Christian, not a real Republican, not a real popular candidate. A forlorn hope when compared to the Obama machine feeding the free loaders, the illegals and the lefties.

    1. You’d think he ought to be able to beat the worst president in our history, during the longest recession in our history. Look, if I could wave a magic wand and make someone president, it wouldn’t be Romney. But he was the only alternative. Either he or Satan’s servant Obama was going to be president.

  3. Did you see pictures of those who voted for O….? They look like nice, neighborly folks. We have lots of these. They are impersonators. Our wonderful God centered country has grown cross culturered weeds instead of the “natural” kind. Like the seeds I saved & planted: up came a breed of  squash that was inedible.   The fact that Romney got as  many votes as he did is proof there are still enough in this country who could make good leaders and the hope of restoration stays put in this Christian’s heart. It never takes a majority but it does take leaders who are leaders. Romney obviously was not the choice of the one running all the governments of the world. You may remember we had to hold our nose and vote because this is/was an emergency situation. When the house is on fire, we need all the help we can get!.   If those who lost this time around are the kind who would make good leaders, we will see them persevere until they make it in the political world as the successful businesmen make it in the business world.   I’ve been around a long time and I’ve seen “patriots” come and go! Where are they today? Do you see many who’ve stuck it out past middle age? One of our best city councilmen ran 3 (that’s three) times before he made it! Now he has a compatriot. God hasn’t given up entirely with the USA or we’de be in a much worse condition than we are now. And it will get worse before it gets better….or we continue to offend the God who made us and finishes us off.
