By Request, ‘Down From His Glory’

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  –Psalm 121:1

The lyrics of this hymn were written to accompany the melody of a very popular song–O Sole Mio. I wanted the version by the Adoration Ensemble, but couldn’t find it. May this acapella rendition suffice.

The phone just rang. The nursing home: my aunt is back in the hospital again. Seems something that should have been done for her, wasn’t done.

Your prayers, please. It’s getting so I just can’t bear the phone to ring anymore.

  1. Thank you so much, Lee. This actually IS the Adoration Ensemble, so you found it after all.

Prayers always for your aunt, and you and your family, Lee. May Our Loving Father sustain you.

    1. I just realized that, as bad as this is, it’s nothing much, compared to what my sister had to deal with, with my mother. Live and learn.

  2. Seems everyone I know is having traumatic situations going on, including me. Big problems and those that turn out, thankfully, not to be as big as first thought. If it were not for the Lord to lean on, I think I’d go mad.
