Little Dog, Long Tunnel

We like dogs here, too. Dogs will try almost anything once. Here’s a Corgi obligingly navigating a snow tunnel that his people set up for him.

Now, a dog who digs his own snow tunnel–that I’d like to see.

  1. It seems the little guy can’t quite decide if he likes the tunnel or not. He navigated it to the end once, but turned around the next go-round. He looked a little like a red fox peeking out at the end 🙂 Very cute!

Reminded me of the red fox a friend of mine and I rescued in North Florida where they’re protected. A car had hit her and she was laying on the side of the road. We wrapped her in a blanket, put her in a carrier (she must have known we meant her no harm because she didn’t struggle or try to bite us) and brought her to my vet, where she remained for about a month, being tended to and rehabilitated (he took care of her at no charge, as was his custom for rescues). When she was ready, she was released to a man who had a very large forested plot of land. Happy ending to a near tragedy 🙂

  2. Brave little scudder. I don’t think I would go for it, but I applaud the little guy.

    1. You mean you don’t make a practice of crawling through snow tunnels?

Oh, I mailed your book today, Erlene. I hope you enjoy it.
