Memory Lane: The Singing Flea Cartoon

Actually, this cartoon is older than I am; but I remember it well. It has that catchy little tune you only have to hear once–and of course the whole goofy spirit of the thing. Well, they didn’t call ’em Loony Tunes for nothing.

Note the flea’s Meat Ration book. What do you think Democrats would give to bring that back again? We don’t call them loony for nothing, either.

That goes back a ways. I agree, the liberals would love to see rationing.

THE BEST! BUT IT’S MISSING SOME OF THE LINES LIKE

“THEY’LL BE NO MORE MEATLESS TUESDAY’S FOR ME….”

LOVED IT WHEN THE DOGS OWNER SPRINKLES FLEA POWDER ON HIM AND THE FLEA PUTS ON A SCARF AND STARTS SNOW SKIING DOWN THE DOGS BACK.

Wow, that really is looney. I never saw that one, but I do remember the food rationing during the war, and as a ten year old, I took the book to the store to do the shopping.
