Proverbs 8 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible (others are 1 Corinthians 1, 1 Corinthians 13, Ephesians 6, Hebrews 11, Romans 7) and I felt a need for it this morning. Maybe you do, too. This chapter is the personification of God’s wisdom, speaking to us directly. Listen.
Very edifying. Wisdom in the Bible is practical whereas wisdom in the Greek culture was philosophic.
God’s wisdom in any part of Scripture is edifying, and I know we all have
favorite parts, as is true of anything. I love the Proverbs too.
