My Newswithviews Column, June 7 (‘Liberalism: Dangerously Silly’)

Liberalism would make a great Peter Sellers comedy. Unfortunately, it has escaped into the real world, where its actual effects are anything but funny.

This ideology contains basic drives for both anarchy and statism: sort of like trying to ride two bicycles at the same time.

None of us can feel safe until liberalism is put out of business forever.

Great article, as always, Lee. Referring to libs as silly was very kind of you. I may have been more inclined to use incompetent space cadets.

The xo-planet thing is about as foolish as it gets. Make up a problem on a planet about which very little is known and then build a pretend civilization in their minds and use that as reinforcement for the draconian policies they want to impose on everyone. It is delusion at its best.

Gavin Newsom iwon the Democratic primary for Governor of California, and is wanting cradle to college to be provided by the state government. And that is just the beginning of plans for a Soviet California. Doesn’t he know California cannot print money?

I’d like to take this as a glimmer of hope . . .

This is the last paragraph of the article:
‘It isn’t a surprise that so many have decided to educate their children themselves. And as schools continue to fail, and authoritarian policies continue to wreak havoc on our society, more will wake up to the absolute horror of what allowing the state to educate our children has done to the moral fabric of humanity.’

Sometimes I think that the birds are coming home to roost, for all sorts of people.

Here’s another one they won’t let you read unless you approve whatever they’ve put in that box.
If this is the same article I read a few days ago, it bugged me that it didn’t provide any hard numbers to back up its claim.

Kill public education, and liberalism dies.
