‘Days of Elijah’ (US Marines)

Sorry, couldn’t help myself, I just had to post this again: U.S. Marines singing Days of Elijah, punctuated by some “ooh-rahs!” from the heart.

Whatever happens, we have got/ Servants of God; and they have not. Let’s see the ACLU break up this hymn-sing.

  1. Love it. Should have heard the message in my church yesterday. The
youth pastor spoke- “It is OK to be a man, no matter what society says.”
    He made some excellent points.

  2. It reminds me of Elijah himself, feeling alone in his faithfulness and being informed that there were 7,000 in Israel that had not bent knee to Baal. I’m always taken by the zeal of these young men. When they sing “there’s no God like Jehovah” the hair on the back of neck stands up straight. No matter how the media attempts to spin things, there are many left whom are faithful in their worship including many fine young men and women.

  3. This one is always even more special to me because I have my own Marine – Michael was a Force Recon Marine.

  4. I have loved this since the first time I heard it. These are men to be proud of.
I have a suggestion for another great song, if you haven’t already posted it and I forgot.
It is “Majesty”. We sang it in church and it brought everyone to their feet.
