A Squirrel Raised with Dogs

Dogs eat squirrels–right? If they can catch them, which doesn’t happen very often.

But not these dogs. When a baby squirrel was brought into their home, they sort of adopted him. And the squirrel has adopted them back.

That kind of adaptability argues for a rather high order of intelligence.

I always said my iguana was smart because he had dog friends. My wife’s dog used to groom him. He had a cat friend, too, but he was mostly a dog lizard. Sort of like the squirrel in this video.
