You have to admire pets like cats, dogs, and rabbits, adapting so successfully to what is, for them, a strange environment–the human home. They do not behave under our roofs as they would if they lived outdoors in a state of nature.

When I watch animals, I am watching something which reflects the original purpose of creation much more accurately than mankind. They, too, suffer from the fall, but I think they do a better job than we humans.
The three stray cats that moved in here act as if they had known the dog forever, they all cuddle together on cool days, the cats join the dog in her
dog house on the deck, they eat and drink together, everything.
