Thanks to all of you who joined in prayer for my sister, Alice, who has been working a job that featured 20-hour days several times a week and was, in my opinion, killing her. She has submitted her resignation. Thank you, Father!
She finally heard the alarm bells go off when she fell asleep behind the wheel of her car and was warned by a police officer. No harm done, but it wasn’t the sort of thing one can ignore.
She has four weeks to go before her resignation takes effect. Please ask the Lord to keep her safe. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

So thankful Alice was not hurt. I have done double shifts but never a 20 hour day – that’s crazy. Who does she think she is, Donald Trump?
She works harder than Trump and gets less done.
I had to work a 20-hour shift once a week at the newspaper. Hard to write headlines after 18 hours or so.
