More Joy of Boxes

Kittens don’t have to wait till they grow up to fall in love with cardboard boxes. Humans could learn from this. It is said Nikita Khrushchev often regretted that he had never had the opportunity to play with cardboard boxes as a child. “There would’ve been no Cuban missile crisis, if I had,” he once confided to Soupy Sales.

You won’t catch any of these kittens touching off a missile crisis.

  1. There is some real intelligence involved in order for them to be able to do this. The kitten has to have the concept that a passerby will not know that they are there. That takes something a psychologist would call “theory of mind”. A kitten has it, but Jos Collidge, not so much. His ilk can’t comprehend that there are other valid viewpoints.

    1. I guess you’re right. I gotta remember that the only path to diversity is when everyone is thinking the same thing all the time. 🙂
