Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus
Today’s Chalcedon editorial gives us an answer to the world’s craziness.

The answer is “Faith,” which takes us out of ourselves and makes God the center of our lives. Examples are listed in Hebrews 11, one of my favorite chapters in the Bible: “the faith Hall of Fame.”
All power comes from the Lord, not man, not man’s institutions. Faith must shape our lives and works; and God is always looking for faithful men and women to accomplish His work in the world. As His servants, that’s why we’re here.
AMEN and I am in full agreement. Hebrews 11 is one of my favorites, too.
If we concentrate on the Scriptures, we will not have too much time to be distracted by the evil.
Faith as a gift is not a one time thing. It is a moment by moment thing. Either we are moving forward in Christ or moving backward by our every act. I like the description of the full armor of God in Ephesians were it says, above all take the shield of faith that we may withstand the fiery darts of the evil one. This life is one of continual warfare, and we are called to be in the battle 14/7. To get daily edifying short articles from Chaledon, just sign up at their website http://www.Chalcedon.edu
