‘Be Thou My Vision’

The ancient Irish hymn, Be Thou My Vision, is one of the oldest hymns in anybody’s hymn-book, going back to the Eighth Century; and it remains a popular hymn today. This is a beautiful rendition of it by Alison Krauss.

  1. I’d like to suggest Marty Goetz singing Prince of Peace.
Be Thou My Vision is a wonderful song also.

  2. The 8th century! It makes me think how anytime we are alone in prayer we are not alone because there are others in the Body of Christ praying to the Throne at the same time. The Nicene Creed calls it “the communion of saints.”
