It fascinates me, that dogs (and cats, too) can be so protective of human babies–sometimes very zealously so. See the idiot pretending to attack her baby, just to get the dog all riled up.
You can’t get your turtle to protect your baby (not that he could), but your dog will guard that baby with his life. It’s really quite an awesome thing to contemplate.
Animals are amazing, if we stop to contemplate it. They are simpler than humans, for example, they can’t use symbolic language, read, etc. but they are not stupid. They seem to be aware of much more than most people give them credit for.
Their are given wisdom by their Maker, in order to be able to do what they need to do. They obviously understand children and are naturally protective of them.
The idiot towards the end was just that, an idiot.
She was an idiot. The dog could end up attacking her.
It would’ve served her right.
