Personally, I don’t believe cats need any help from humans when it comes to being assertive. If you were a click beetle or a moth, I’m sure you’d agree.

That little fellow is definitely not about to accept any human nonsense. They can sure be fierce.
Hmmm, I never thought of giving Iggy a pacifier. But by now he probably wouldn’t know what to do with it and would just bat it around a few times. In his old age (16yr3mo), he’s settled down to two favorite toys, which he can still get kittenish with now and then but usually just gives a smack or two in passing.
This little guy, though, is a powerhouse with his toy — even though it’s bigger than he is! 🙂
