So here’s Clive Rowe, as Nicely-Nicely, singing Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat. “I dreamed last night I got on a boat to Heaven…” and then he dreamed a wave washed him off the boat and the Devil dragged him down: a dream that scared him into cleaning up his life.
The Holy Spirit has many ways of speaking to us. He can even use a Broadway musical to get His point across.
Christianity should have its fun side since it is the joy of the Lord sinners see in us that helps draw them to Christ.
I’d never seen this particular performance. But it’s a great song every time. I sometimes have to sing it to myself — although not about dice and whiskey. 🙂
