By Request, ‘I Asked the Lord’

Starting the day with a hymn, requested by Erlene: I Asked the Lord, by Carroll Roberson.

We take hymn requests from everyone, but only four or five of you actually make them. If there’s any way to get readers more involved, I haven’t found it yet.

This is an evil age, and we need our hymns.

  1. I know I need these songs of worship very much. When things get annoying, things are weighing heavily, I don’t know which way to turn, it is time to take time out and just sit in worship of the Lord. That takes care of a lot of things and smooths out the day for me.

    1. I had a nightmare last night about being unable to get any more of my books published. Something’s getting to me.

  2. It must be the enemy telling you lies. Rebuke him, just as Jesus did in his 40 day temptation in the wilderness just following His baptism. We know it is going to be a battle from here on, and we have to be ready to fight. Our weapon is the sword of the spirit, the Word of God. We have promises, but we also have warnings.
