‘Spare Us the Lib-Speak’ (2018)

Remember when language was more than talking points and gibberish? But that was before this century.

Spare Us the Lib-Speak

I’m already tired of this key word business. It doesn’t seem to work at all. I can throw in mandate, or social justice, or mix your own cocktails till I’m blue in the face and my viewer numbers are still in the tank.

Spent an hour yesterday with WordPress’ happiness engineers, trying to solve some of these problems. The answer you almost always get, whatever the problem, is “We don’t know.” Or they’ll simply deny I have a problem. I thought that kind of uselessness was confined to Capitol Hill; but it seems to have seeped out into the general population.

  1. This really is a frustrating time to try to deal with. Everything is s-l-l-o-w these days, especially the most important things. Yes, I have slowed down considerably too, but at my age, it is to be expected. Orders are slow, deliveries, appointments, anything you can name; all slow.

  2. Please pardon my own recent absence. Thunderstorms in the area yesterday kept me off the computer, and I’m now trying desperately to keep up with emails, blog posts, responses to my previous comments, and podcasts that I didn’t get a chance to hear or watch.
