They’re always aimed right at pure nihilism, aren’t they?
I wrote this as a satire, but now I wonder how long it’ll take Our Betters to strip us of our personal names. And everything else that makes us human.
As the personified wisdom of God says, “All them that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8: 36).
Remember when language was more than talking points and gibberish? But that was before this century.
I’m already tired of this key word business. It doesn’t seem to work at all. I can throw in mandate, or social justice, or mix your own cocktails till I’m blue in the face and my viewer numbers are still in the tank.
Spent an hour yesterday with WordPress’ happiness engineers, trying to solve some of these problems. The answer you almost always get, whatever the problem, is “We don’t know.” Or they’ll simply deny I have a problem. I thought that kind of uselessness was confined to Capitol Hill; but it seems to have seeped out into the general population.
Yeah… “too masculine,” all right
Remember this? University of Kansas says you can’t have a picture of a gorilla–because gorillas are “too masculine” and “not inclusive.”
Can we unpack this twaddle and extract some sense from it? Uh, no. We can’t. It’s just collidge crapola designed to dissolve the mind that comes in contact with it. There’s nothing to be found here but pure idiocy.
But it costs a lot, though.
