From “Planet of the Apes”–is this where we’re headed?
This is positively the last nooze story I’m doing today. Enough is enough.
An “art and architecture critic” for The Washington Post has called the Statue of Liberty (!) “a meaningless symbol of hypocrisy” (https://meaww.com/philip-kennicott-washington-post-colum-statue-of-liberty-racist). And it’s Racist, too. Like everything else. There’s nothing about America that leftids like.
So why are they still here? Is there an answer to that question that does not include a singularly hefty dose of hypocrisy?

The thing with all these people is that they are very confused and deluded. The asylum id overcrowded, but we need more room for nuts.
Here in Arkansas there is a 19 year old running for the Legislature who says America is a stain on the world and that communism rules. Two years ago he was a Republican. How does this happen? By the Left’s smear campaign that America is beyond redemption because of our sins of the past and present. The church of the elect has to get active and take every thought captive to Christ like Lee does on this blog. We are to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. May we repent of our apathy and ignorance.

Well stated Lee. If they don’t like it, there are plenty of other places they can go.
Well, when we point out how terrible everyone around us is, we place ourselves in a superior position to them all: “I thank Thee, Lord, that I am not like that publican” — or American. Meanwhile, we enjoy all the benefits of what we’re criticizing, on the grounds that once the scum (i.e., everyone else) is scoured away, only the good things (i.e., ourselves and the benefits) will remain in all their glory.
