A Goat in the Family

Mother German shepherd, half-grown German shepherd puppy… and half-grown baby goat: they may be an unusual family, but they do seem happy.

I can’t help it–frolicky baby goats really charm me. I’m told, though, that they grow out of it and turn into hoofed party-poopers. I don’t know, I never had a goat. Somebody tell me it ain’t so.

  1. We have over 25 goats, and they (at least some of them) do not grow out of the playful stage. The billys,
especially, remain playful as long as they live.

  2. They do know how to have fun, no doubt about it. They like to tease the dogs and jump on buildings, they have a million ideas about showing off.
