How do quart-sized cats squeeze themselves into pint-sized containers? I knew a philosopher who said, “They have rubber bones.” He will not let me give you his name. This is because his two cats have put the fear into him.

  1. Cats do have one secret, with regard to this, and that is that they are a lot smaller than they appear. House cats, even short-haired house cats, have a lot of fur. They also seem to be made to be very flexible. Sometimes I’ll see a cat sleeping comfortably in a position that looks not only uncomfortable, and nearly impossible. Maybe they are made with rubber bones.
