Although the cat in this video is eventually reconciled to his new blanket, it’s a well-known fact that cats don’t like change.
When we got a new sofa for our living room, our cat Henry wouldn’t go anywhere near it; he’d slink along the opposite wall when he wished to cross the room, casting suspicious glances at the sofa all the way.
You can always try to explain to your cat that the change is for the better.
True, cats do not always see things the same way we do.
I find their attitude completely understandable.
So do I. I am not liking change these days. Most of my changes are not good.
I’ve seen this phenomenon, myself. Every change is a mystery, and must be investigated, but very cautiously.
