See this little tiny tot hug and cuddle a rather large iguana. It sure looks like my iguana, which I had for 17 years. They’re social animals, and mine thought he he was a mammal. So he acted like one. Raise them as babies to grow up to be good pets, and that’s what they’ll be.

That’s heartwarming.
I didn’t know that about Iguanas. We have Iguanas that live here. I have found their nests, by accident. Some children found a nest, 30 feet from my front door in the brush next to the canal. But I have yet to see one!
Iguanas aren’t native to the Philippines, but if someone were to release a few of them there, I’m sure they’d do just fine.
Well, you may be correct, nevertheless, whatever kind of lizard it is, it lays big eggs. And the boys saw it right next door, and tried to catch it, but found its eggs, which I saw. And they also had found another, about two feet long, but I don’t know what kind it was.
I could probably tell you if I had a picture.
Iguanas are not native to Florida, but thanks to the exotic pet trade, they’ve got a foothold there.
Wow, I never would have thought about these critters being so loveable. Just shows how little I know.
It depends a lot on how they’re raised–which a lot of people don’t do properly. If you give affection, you’ll get affection. My iguana sat in your lap and would have purred if he could.
If I reblog this later, is that alright with you?
Absolutely OK! And thanks.
