Disney’s Food Fight

As “too big to fail” morphs into “too big to keep its head on straight,” Disney Corp’s non-stop food fight yesterday saw them fire their Star Wars star for using funny pronouns and “mocking transgendered people,” blah-blah-blah (https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/star-wars-mandalorian-gina-carano-trans-pronouns-bio-twitter-disney-b436015.html).

Disney has this long-established tradition, see: if you’re an actor working for Disney, you say what they tell you to say and you don’t say what they tell you not to say. So they wanted this woman’s “pronouns,” and because the absurdity of it bothered her, she replied that her pronouns are “beep/bop/boop.”

Hell’s bells! The new Snow White whom they just fired the other day jumped into the fray: pronouns, she asserted, “are validating”!. Their careful use avoids “misgendering.”

Meanwhile Disney movies keep dying at the box office, ten or eleven duds in a row–how do they keep doing that and not go broke? Their theme park attendance is down. They have made their disdain for normal people so thick, you could cut it with a saw.

Stay tuned–another star might fall today (if one hasn’t already).

  1. And to think, Disney owned the movie “Sound of Freedom” in 2018 but never released it. Then Angel Studious acquired it and as of now has made $175 million. What a bunch of goobs at Disney.
