You’ve got this gorgeous plastic train set, you go to the trouble to set it up for your cats to play with–and what do they do? That’s right–they play with the boxes it came in. Wisely the human concedes… and provides more cardboard boxes.

Yep, cats just love hiding in boxes, bags, any container they can get into. In fact, they will fight one another for the right to the box.

That was a lot of fun. Cats and boxes are apparently a match made in heaven. I know that my cat has to explore any box that enters the house. Cats also love guitar cases. Any guitarist knows that if you leave an empty case open, the cat of the house will make themselves at home, as soon as they see it.
Loved that plastic train set–my brother and I would’ve had a lot of fun with that.
I’ve always loved model trains.
