How does Superman cut his hair? How does he cut his toenails?
He’s invulnerable, right? Can’t cut him with a knife or shoot him with a bullet. His clothes are invulnerable, too–I think the international garment industry has suppressed the details.
It’s just another one of those goofy things that nobody has thought through.Take vampires. They’re un-dead, right? Not alive. So if you became a vampire as a toddler, wouldn’t you be a toddler forever? Now there’s a thought…
“So if you became a vampire as a toddler, wouldn’t you be a toddler forever?”
The Highlander TV series touched on that theme in one episode I remember (back when I still watched TV. 😄) The immortals of the series did not become immortal until they first “died” and unnatural death, usually violent, death (such as in battle, or getting murdered). They would then come back to life, stopped aging, and could not be killed unless they were beheaded. In one episode, a young boy from the Middle Ages was murdered, and he was stuck living an immortal life in the body of a prepubescent child, but his mind had centuries of experience and growth. He became so angry over the situation, he basically went insane and turning to evil. I think they did an episode with a young girl in a similar situation, but I can’t remember anymore.
Anne Rice touched on it, too.
That’s an easy one. Superman just used his Lazer-like e-ray vision. No problem is too big for the man from Krypton.
If you say so, boss…
