Sometimes the nooze looks just like this.
I have worn myself out–blog posts, Newswithviews, and another set of chapters edited and typed and sent to Susan: Ozias, Prince Enthroned marches on.
So I’m too tired to come up with anything new, and so I resort to another “best of” that I referred to in an earlier post, “NBC Nooze: Heterosexuality Isn’t Working.” This is the follow-up to that:
I did once change someone’s mind, a few years ago, convincing him that homeschooling was not only a far sight better than public education, but necessary to the survival of our republic.
I don’t cover these unwholesome nooze stories for my health.
Unfortunately, the cow flop keeps getting deeper.
Most people still think homeschooling is where the mom or maybe the dad has to carry all the weight of educating, when in reality most homeschoolers network with others. Homeschooled children have much more authentic relationships with adults than public school children (who are not even capable of small talk – too busy looking at their cell phone screen).
Middle-class Roman families used to pool their resources to hire a tutor for their children–one teacher serving several families. The system worked well enough to provide a whole empire with efficient and competent middle management.
