Hey! If somebody says or writes or thinks anything you might find offensive, wouldn’t it be great if you could dial a state “bias incident” hot line and rat him out? As for how you prove the case–well, nobody’s talking about that, are they?

Washington’s state legislature has passed such a bill, creating such a hot line, and the governor is expected to sign it into law (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/democrat-governor-set-criminalize-free-speech-washington-state/). It goes into effect in 2027.

Yessir, they’re “combating hate crimes” and forbidding any “hostile expression of animus toward another person” belonging to any one of the usual assortment of protected groups who must not be criticized. If I list them all here, this post will be too long.

Will it be a crime, punishable by the state, if you call someone a lazy bum, a doofus, or an ill-informed motormouth, etc.? Is this a new kind of perpetual kindergarten? “If you can’t say anything nice, then just shut up already”? I don’t know how we’re supposed to live that way, with Big Brother always set to pounce.

Our country’s founders thought they’d given us a limited government. But that was before Blue states were invented.

  1. I wanted to request a song for tomorrow, and my internet has been down for hours, so I will have to take this opportunity to request: You Raise Me Up by Selah. Has words and the most beautiful scenery you can imagine.

  2. How did so many degenerate people end up in Washington State? Maybe because of Microsoft. God hates sin and says objectedly what it is in His Law/Word, but the state’s definition of hate speech is purely subjective. May God turn Washington State red, or otherwise may it change its name which they are dishonoring.
