Border? What border? Does our country have a border?
We still don’t know where we are with this, although we may find out today.
Yesterday (Tuesday, 3/19) the United States Supreme Court lifted an injunction against a new Texas law that allowed police to arrest persons here illegally (now called “migrants”). “Hours later” a federal appeals court reinstated the injunction to allow time for further arguments (https://www.politico.com/news/2024/03/19/texas-arrest-migrants-supreme-court-mexico-border-00147825#:~:text=The%20Supreme%20Court%20on%20Tuesday,the%20law%20from%20being%20implemented.).
Today the Supreme Court might issue a further ruling.
The Biden mob asserts that only the federal government has the authority to enforce immigration laws–which everyone can see that they have no intention of doing. Thus the Texas law can be seen as an act to fill a vacuum which the federal government has deliberately left in place.
Yes, the federal government is responsible for enforcing our immigration laws. But it has consistently refused to do so.
If that’s not dereliction of duty… what is?
It is dereliction of duty in my opinion, I know these people are in need (at least some of
them are) but citizens of the U.S. are also in need- of properly operating government,
help of many kinds and they are not receiving it from the current administration.
I can’t believe how much power these lower courts have.
