Wow! Look at the tufts on these cats’ ears! Our cat Robbie has tufts, but not as big as these. Is there a lynx in the family tree? I don’t think I’ve ever seen cats like these.

I have seen a few cats with this trait. A bunch of feral cats showed up here in our back yard, and my son Eric has been feeding them. They are good mousers who can keep the large shop free of the pests, so they are welcome to hang around. A couple of them have ears like this.
I’m pretty sure those are Maine Coon Cats, a breed that is known for longer fur and being somewhat lanky. They truly are magnificent creatures.
Yes, they probably are. I had a Maine Coon Cat years ago. He was a very different sort of creature, and he liked me only; no one else in the house.
Cats, dogs, iguanas–they’re all individuals, no two alike.

For certain, animals are very much individuals.
My iguana thought he was a mammal.
I watch the Bobcat TB channel on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLgAoWdjk8RuMUggHSwd9_g and among her Lynx, Bobcats, Raccoons, Cougars, etc. she breeds Maine Coon Cats. They seem to be a breed apart. She has a fresh batch of kittens, at the moment, and they are beautiful.
