Democrats’ New York: Subway Assaults Up 53%

New York City's subway crime through the decades – New York ...

Maybe they’ll assault the police dog, too.

So you want to ride the New York City subways, do you? Make sure your affairs are in order before you start.

Felony assaults on the city’s subway system went up 53 percent in 2023 (https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2024/03/25/felony-assaults-subway-jump-53-percent-gun-controlled-democrat-run-nyc/).

Not even the police officers are safe on the subway: 100 of them were assaulted, too.

And 25 percent of the assaults resulted in “substantial injury” to the victims.

Well, this is what you get when Far Left political appointees in district attorneys’ offices get their hands on the justice system. They’re too busy witch-hunting Donald Trump to bother with protecting New York’s citizens.

Why do they do this? It’s their ideology.

We are governed by people who do not like us.

  1. I would take a wild guess that the 53% is also underreported, considering the NYC stance on what constitutes a “felony assault” nowadays.

    1. There was a Jazz guitarist in tne ‘50s, by the name of Johnny Smith. His wife passed away and wanting to give his daughter a semblance of a normal upbringing, he left New York for Colorado Springs, Colorado. When asked why he chose the town Coloradans referred to as “The Springs”, he replied that it was as far as you could get away from New York City without being too close to Los Angeles. He also famously stated that the most beautiful sight he ever saw was the New York Skyline, disappearing from his rear view mirror.

I’ve spent most of my life in either Colorado or Arizona, and I don’t feel that I’m missing a thing by not being in New York or LA. I’ve never been to NYC, LA is a few hours drive from here, but I avoid visiting the place. I was in Calabasas on business, a few years ago, and that was bad enough.
