That is cute. He really seems to be trying to decide whether this is threatening or inviting.
That’s really cool. Music is mathematical, at its deepest roots, rooted in proportions. Obviously, animals don’t know how to do complex math, but they do have the ability to sense pleasing sound, so I think that they enjoy the same arrangement of pitches as we do.
It troubles me that none of our cats have liked bagpipes. Sometimes the church across the street has a paper for a wedding or a funeral… and the cats always object. Maybe they’re sassenach cats.
