More “saving Our Democracy”
You don’t need me to tell you what the nooze is today. Besides, I try to set aside Sunday as a no-nooze day. Reserve a day to the LORD.
It’s not so easy to do. Suddenly millions of people who’ve been paying no attention discover that assorted nameless, faceless “handlers” in the White House have been gaslighting America since 2019. Telling us our so-called president was smart as a whip, nothing wrong here. When all the time he was but a step or two from being an animated mummy. And not animated that skillfully, either.
All lies, all the time. You’d think someone has hexed our country. How else to explain the last four years?
Pray the Lord will do some weeding-out, Pray the Lord will save us.
This isn’t an ordinary Sunday, and to ignore the assassination attempt on Trump – and the successful killing and critical wounding of his supporters at the rally – is too important to put on hold until Monday. If nothing else, we should be praying for the dead and wounded and their families, and giving thanks to God that Trump turned his head exactly when he did or else he would be one of the dead now.
And considering the reactions on the left – rejoicing at the shooting but disappointment that the shooter missed Trump – we need to pray for the future of our Nation, not just in the abstract but for every American put in danger by these leftists.
Oops, I hijacked myself in the middle of a sentence and WordPress won’t let me edit. It’s the subject of the assassination that’s too important to put on hold, not the ignoring of it. 🙄
I see what you mean, now you mention it; but the first time I read the comment, I’m sure I understood what you were saying and I didn’t spot anything wrong with it. Some editor I turned out to be!
I think we’ll do best just to leave it alone.

When are the American people going to put the Far Left out of business? Now that they’ve started killing people… has the time come?
We don’t want to ignore it, and we aren’t going to; but at the same time, they did fail to murder our president and I think there’s something to be said for normalcy.
I’m reminded of a Winston Churchill anecdote. In the middle of World War II, with the German armies only just turned back from Moscow, Churchill saw Russians in Moscow, on a bitingly cold winter day, lining up to buy ice cream. “These people,” he said, “will never be defeated!”
The few corporations that control almost all the news in our nation are the enemy of America – they are global companies. But take heart, the Christian and conservative alternative platforms are growing in size, number, and influence. It is a war of ideas. The New Testament tells us to take every thought captive to Christ. We have a lot of work to do as we place all our reliance on the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s narrative to us. Jesus said the pure in heart shall see God so pray for purity, we need to hear the Lord’s voice not man’s.
