A CBS news reporter who was on the scene at Butler, PA, when Donald Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt, says he got PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) when he was convinced that the crowd blamed the nooze media for the shooting and would have killed the reporters if Trump hadn’t gotten back on his feet and showed he was all right, albeit slightly wounded (https://www.foxnews.com/media/cbs-news-reporter-says-he-got-ptsd-from-trump-assassination-attempt-because-crowd-anger-media).
Can you dig this? A President of the United States is shot and nearly killed, in front of hundreds of witnesses… and some noozie thinks it’s all about himself.
Boo-hoo.
A bystander was killed by the would-be assassin, but there’s no mention of that: just the noozie having to take some time off.
How important do some people think they are?
Naturally the shooting was appalling to everyone who saw it. But the crowd did not riot, did not threaten any “journalists,” and should be commended for not falling into a panic. Trump himself deserves some credit for that.
I think of the old lifeboat drills, “Women and children first!”
Should it have been “Reporters first”?
