Its time has come and gone–enough’s enough!
“Liberty, Equality, Fraternity”–oops! Sorry, that was the French Revolution’s slogan, the last thing you heard before the guillotine blade came down. We don’t have that anymore. We have DEI–“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion.”
Another oops: Microsoft has just laid off its entire DEI team (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/microsoft-reportedly-lays-dei-team-brutal-message/).
To what extent did we ever need DEI? How was it supposed to help any company that adopted it to do business?
Well, it didn’t. Turns out the public doesn’t like DEI! All that race-based hiring, gender-based promotion, and endless nagging of a public that had already heard way more than enough–they should’ve stopped it months ago. Or years.
It looks like other companies will soon be following suit, lopping DEI wizards off the payroll. It’s about time.
Into the landfill of history goes DEI! It’s time for DEI to d.i.e.
I don’t trust them. They will just call it by another name and try to fake out and gaslight everyone. Their Alinsky tactics are growing tiresome.
All of the PC BS leads to nothing good, for anyone.
The irony of DEI, which was promoted as a way to combat racism and sexism, is completely racist and sexist. It is based on the assumption that women and anyone with a bit of extra melanin in their skin (or in their ancestry) is incapable of achieving anything based on their own merits, but that the White Saviors (who are also inherently racist and sexist, due to the lack of melanin in their skin) have to game the system for them.
DEI is losing its clout, but it is not gone, by any means. If necessary, it will come back in another from. The Neo-Marxists that created it will not allow it to disappear.
It’s more proof that we live in a fallen world.
That’s what’s gets me about this. I see it as insulting to the people it purports to help.
