Following the lead of President Donald Trump–go ahead, tell me the last time SloJo Biden led anyone anywhere–19 state attorneys general warned Costco to drop their DEI (“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion”) policies (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/state-ags-warn-retail-giant-costco-doubling-down-discriminatory-dei). Drop ’em, or lawsuits will make you drop ’em.

“Racial discrimination is both immoral and illegal,” said Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach.

So how come companies had been practicing it non-stop for the past four years?

Uh… Because the Far Left kooks who ran the Biden disaster regime said they’d better discriminate if they didn’t want Government bending their fingers the wrong way. Being afraid of a powerful and unscrupulous government to whom the Constitution meant absolutely nothing, most of them fell obediently into line.

Now they can stop. President Trump is rescuing the country from the scourge of DEI.

Its time has come and gone–enough’s enough!

“Liberty, Equality, Fraternity”–oops! Sorry, that was the French Revolution’s slogan, the last thing you heard before the guillotine blade came down. We don’t have that anymore. We have DEI–“Diversity, Equity, Inclusion.”

Another oops: Microsoft has just laid off its entire DEI team (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/microsoft-reportedly-lays-dei-team-brutal-message/).

To what extent did we ever need DEI? How was it supposed to help any company that adopted it to do business?

Well, it didn’t. Turns out the public doesn’t like DEI! All that race-based hiring, gender-based promotion, and endless nagging of a public that had already heard way more than enough–they should’ve stopped it months ago. Or years.

It looks like other companies will soon be following suit, lopping DEI wizards off the payroll. It’s about time.

Into the landfill of history goes DEI! It’s time for DEI to d.i.e.

“Diversity” in action!

“DEI” must die; and the University of Utah has taken the lead here by ending the use of DEI statements (“Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”) “in application or hiring process” (https://www.insidehighered.com/news/quick-takes/2024/01/08/university-utah-end-diversity-statements-new-hires#:~:text=The%20University%20of%20Utah%20will,involved%20in%20hiring%20new%20employees.).

The governor of Utah called for an end to these statements, which he described as “bordering on evil”–setting a political position as a requirement for employment–and the Utah Board of Higher Education issued directives “to eliminate diversity questions or statements”. The university president handed down the directives to the staff and so there, we hope, is an end to it.

Stop the presses: for once a university has done something right. We all know by now, I sincerely hope, that “diversity” only means a coerced uniformity of speech and thought. That catchy little slogan, “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity,” kept the guillotine busy in France, once upon a time. Anyone who thinks that could never happen here is an optimist.

But remember this: All this crazy toxic Woke ideology we are burdened with today started out with numerically insignificant fringe groups who never gave up until they had their jackboots on our necks.
